Ecuador in South America is a vivacious country, whose people live life to the fullest. Ecuador is a beautiful place where one can find beautiful towns, great rainforests, a wonderful coastline, snow-capped mountains and much more. Ecuador is a miracle of ecology.  It habitats 302 species of mammals, 18250 plants with flowers, 1559 bird species, 374 reptiles, 402 amphibians and 706 fresh water fish… and the Galapagos..the First National Park of Earth. Ecuador also has the highest volcanoes of the Andes. The Galapagos Islands has been declared as Natural heritage site for humanity. It is also famous for its connection with Charles Darwin and his famous work on the “Origin of the Species”.

Day 1 : Ecuador
Arrival in Ecuador – Direct transfer to hotel (D)

Upon arrival at new Quito International Airport, your Latin America Host will be waiting for meet and greet service.

Day 02 : Quito  (BL)
A Site lecture on Hispanic art of UNESCO´s first cultural heritage site to admire Flemish school paintings, Spanish baroque style sculptures and monuments designed by the best masters of the Italian Renaissance – Baroque periods. Program includes, San Agustín (1581) and the famous “Chapter Room” where independence was signed, Presidential palace, Independence Square, the Metropolitan Cathedral with the treasures of the Archbishop (1550), the golden masterpiece of the baroque La Compañía (1605) holding Ecuador's best series of colonial paintings and relics like our lady saint Mariana de Jesus and the image of our Lady of the Sorrow (La Dolorosa del Colegio) which cried tears of blood in 1906. End up at San Francisco (1535), the biggest Latin America religious art museum.

Day 03 : Quito - Solar Museum at Equator - Tropical Forest (BLD)
We begin the Tour from your hotel in the City of Quito; Then we start heading North West of Quito, passing through the middle of the world; we will stand at the monument to picture 0 latitude and Equatorial city. Next we will go to “Windows” observatory to see Pululahua, one of the largest volcanic caldrons. Next stop will be at Pahuma (Flat head) to learn about orchids; species of flora and fauna endemic of the cloud forest, waterfalls and forest tracks. Following our tour, we will pass by the Parrish of Nanegalito, area known for fried Pork.

Next we will drive to the Mindo area which is known for orchids, birds, butterflies, cascades; this is like the capital of the Cloud forest at the edge of the Choco biodiversity region.

Day 4 : The Famous Otavalo Indian Market (BL)
Today we have the most important contact with the Indian culture of Latin America, We will visit the most important handcraft market in Latin America, we can find from Alpaca pullovers to Panama huts, jewelry and fine wood carvings among traditional clothing from the different ethnic groups.  After lunch, we will transfer back to Quito, Capital of Ecuador

Day 05 Flight to Galapagos -  Visit to the Charles Darwin Center (BL)
This 986-square-kilometer island is the second largest and the most populated of the Archipelago. At Academy Bay, there is Puerto Ayora, site for the facilities of the Charles Darwin Scientific Station, a center for conducting research and conserving the Galapagos species, especially the 11 surviving species of tortoises. Other spots for visitors are the highlands located about 12 km. from Bellavista. To reach this site you will have to go through the xerophytic vegetation into areas overgrown with scalecia, miconia, fern-sedge; other species are the opuntia and the cereus, Palo Santo, croton and cryptocarpus bushes. The visit will include a hike around "Los Gemelos", which are actually sink holes rather than craters, surrounded by a esclalecia forest where a large number of birds like the vermilion flycatcher and most of the 13 species of the famous Darwin finches have made their home.

Day 06 : Visit of the second Island in Galapagos (BL)
One of a pair of small uplifted islands a short distance from the east coast of Sta. Cruz, South Plaza has a unique Sesuvium and Opuntia landscape which provides some of the most interesting wildlife observation available in Galapagos. Land iguanas are always easily seen from the trail, frequently in the shade of a cactus. Swallow-tailed gulls, which nest on the rugged southern cliffs, are usually seen, along with various other sea birds. The protected rocky seashore is prime habitat for a large colony of noisy sea lions.

Day 07 : Visit of the third Island of Galapagos
The small bay on Barrington's Northeast coast, an extremely picturesque anchorage, provides the visitor with two trails. One of these leads to a scenic viewpoint on top of a cliff, and eventually leads to an area where a species of land iguana unique to this island can sometimes be seen. The second trail is a short walk from the beach to an unusually tall forest of prickly pear cactus.

Day 08 Flight Back to Main land
At given time you will be transferred to Baltra airport for the flight back to mainland Guayaquil. If there is a long time for connection, we can see some Guayaquil and enjoy a hot chocolate. Then a connection flight to your city.
